We are going to do an exercise which will help you to understand it more, rather than just breathing and not understanding what is happening.
The theory behind this exercise is that everyday problems, and especially recurring problems that consistently interrupt our flow of happiness, are masking underlying birth trauma and early childhood trauma.
These issues are locked in our cells, as a form of tension. What I love about this, is we talk about areas in our life that are blocked. We know that there are these things in our life which are blocking us from becoming successful, but it just stays in this ethereal or abstract realm – “I’m blocked but I don’t know how to release it. So maybe I’ve got to do affirmations, or try to talk myself into being more than I am, or try letting go of my shit. But there’s no real understanding that your mind can really latch onto, to understand where it’s blocked, how it’s blocked and how to work with it. And this is what this exercise gives. And it is simple.
The Issue is in Tissue
So, your everyday problems are masking your underlying birth trauma and particularly the recurring ones. So think about the recurring problems, the ones that keep coming up in your life all the time. It might be in relationships where you are constantly creating the same kinds of relationships with people. You are experiencing the same problems, having the same issues, where you keep banging up against the same things with other people in the same way. You might consistently feel social anxiety when you step into a room with new people. You really wish that you didn’t have it because you just want to be able to authentically connect with people wherever you are.
This, you can be guaranteed – has come from your birth experience, from your birth trauma or early childhood experience of trauma. If you can go back and clear it, and understand it and work with it, then you will be conscious of it. So, when you walk into a room and get the anxiety come up, you know that this is that really young part of you. This young part of you, needs you to nurture and hold it right now. You can breathe into it. You’ve got a technique now, you can breathe.
Maybe you walk into the room, there’s a whole lot of people and you start feeling super anxious. You can just stop and feel, where is it in my body? Take a deep breath and be willing to feel the fear but step forward anyway, even though you might be shaking. You say “Hello” to someone and they might reject you, then you are feeling whoa! I’m really in agony.
These are the things that you can work on with the breath. It’s just a really simple tool for when you are really freaking out. You can just take yourself into the bathroom, take yourself out of the situation and do this breathing technique.
Because after you finish Level 1 training, you want to take yourself on as a re-creation. You want to recreate things about yourself – those things about yourself that you are not particularly happy with – or you wouldn’t be here. So these are some techniques that you are going to be able to use everyday to start to recreate neural patterns in your brain. Create new patterns about how you feel about yourself, because at the moment, the reason that you have these anxieties is because you don’t feel good about yourself. You don’t feel good in the world, you feel worthless. And these are just the messages that you got when you were little. It may not have been actually said to you, it could have been an action. You were left alone as a baby, “controlled cried” all the time , and then you believe that no-one hears you, no-one is there for you when you are in pain. So what’s the point, you know?
So you want to recreate this, you don’t want to be living with that belief anymore. This is a really good exercise to drop into what these traumas are, and where they are in your body. This is what this exercise gives and it’s so simple.
Cellular Memory Release Practice
1. The first thing is to identify your most pressing or most recurring problem or current problem. Underneath this we want to get down to the suppressed birth memory or a repressed unmet need in childhood.
2. Next we uncover the corresponding abstract negative thought. This is so abstract that you are probably not even aware of it. We will drop into this again in another exercise where you will drop into the core thought that you have about yourself.
3. Then we want to identify the corresponding emotion. This will be the strongest emotion. It might be fear, anger, grief or shame or guilt.
4. Finally we want to identify the strongest corresponding body sensation.
The CMR (Cellular Memory Release) exercise is learning the skill of how to breathe energy into your cells as well as air. Mind, body and breath are interconnected. The CMR exercise utilises both mind and breath to consciously draw energy back into the cells that were contracted in birth and early childhood.
We are going to do a little exercise which is called the CMR exercise. It’s a cellular memory release exercise, which is what basically the breathwork is all based on. And we will talk about how the cells retain our trauma. So imagine if you could learn a skill which would reintroduce the energy body back into every contracted cell in your body. And that you could learn this skill to the point of complete mastery, so the energy body reinhabited your whole physical body. It would be logical then that you could be healthy, no matter what age you are.
The cellular memory release exercise is learning a skill on how to breathe energy into your cells, as well as air. Mind, body and breath are interconnected. The CMR exercise utilises both mind and breath to consciously draw energy back into the cells that were contracted in birth and early childhood. The mind connects one to the emotional pain via today’s problems, and the merged breath restores eternal energy to the contracted cells. Consciously merging the breath connects one to the primal force that built one’s body in the first place.
Exercise
We are going to do an exercise which will help you to understand it more, rather than just breathing and not understanding what is happening.
The theory behind this exercise is that everyday problems, and especially re-occuring problems that consistently interrupt our flow of happiness, are masking underlying birth trauma and early childhood trauma.

I’m really in your agony.
So these are the things that you can work on with the breath, and with EFT is great too. I will be teaching you guys how to do EFT. It’s just a really simple tool for when you are really freaking out. You can just take yourself into the bathroom, take yourself out of the situation and do this whole tapping thing.
